Hamper Delivery Times

Our couriers make deliveries between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Orders placed at the weekend and public holidays will be delivered or dispatched on the next working day.

We are unable to guarantee specific delivery times but will do our best to accommodate delivery requests when specified.

Perth Metro Area - Orders placed by 10am* will be delivered on the same day.

Perth Outer Metro Area - Orders placed by 10am* may be delivered same day, however sometimes this will not be possible and it is prudent to allow 1-2 working days for delivery of these orders.

Regional WA and Interstate - Our Gift Hampers are sent utilising the services of Australia Post.  See "Gift Hampers Sent By Post".  

*Occasionally you will be unable to select same day delivery date for orders placed by 10am due to unforeseen circumstances & we apologise for this. Your gift will be delivered on the next available delivery date.

Gift Hampers Sent By Post

Perth Metro Area - Next day delivery to Perth Metro Area* (*Orders must be received by 10am - Australia Post Delivery Mon- Fri only )

Outer Perth Metro - 2 working days. These times may vary during peak times.

WA Regional Areas - 2 to 5 working days. These times may vary during peak times.

Interstate - 4 - 7 working days. These times may vary during peak times.

We pride ourselves on the presentation of our gift hampers and the quality of our products and as such:

Our gifts are presented as described in the Product Description.
The cost for posting our gifts includes protective wrap (where required) and protective outer packaging. 

Some of our hampers are not suitable for posting. If our gift hamper is not suitable for posting we have marked it - *This gift hamper is only available for Perth Metro Area and Perth Outer Metro Area*.

For gifts sent with Australia Post you will receive an email to your valid email address with your tracking information for your gift.

We are unable to guarantee delivery dates and specific delivery instructions for gifts sent by post.

Incorrectly Addressed items returned to Hampers by Design by Australia Post will incur a Return to Sender fee in addition to a re-delivery fee to correct address.

All gifts sent via Australia Post will require a signature upon delivery, if no one is available to sign for the gift, a notification card will be left and the gift will be returned to the nearest Australia Post outlet for collection by the recipient.

Delivery Costs

The price you pay for delivery of your gift is dependant on a number of factors:

  1. Whether you would like to send the gift by courier or by post
  2. The postcode of the recipients destination
  3. Weight of the gift (if sent by the post)

We believe that the price for delivery of your gift should be very clear. You can therefore obtain a price for delivery on each of our products by simply entering your delivery postcode on the shopping cart page.

Delivery of hampers to hospitals

Please ensure your recipient will still be admitted on the day of delivery. Redelivery of your gift will incur a redelivery charge.

Please note we are unable to deliver gifts to ICU Wards.

Incorrect Addressed Items

Please ensure all address details are correct.

Incorrectly Addressed items which require re-direction by courier delivery will incur a further delivery charge.

Incorrectly Addressed items returned to Hampers by Design by Australia Post will incur a Return to Sender fee in addition to a re-delivery fee to correct address.

Delivery of hampers containing chocolate

We would recommend that gift hampers containing chocolate be handed directly to a person at the delivery address, as we are unable to guarantee that the chocolate will not melt. If you are unsure whether the recipient will be at home we can:

  1. Offer you a suitable replacement for the chocolate product
  2. Offer you an alternative hamper
  3. Deliver the gift hamper to the recipients workplace instead of their home address

Delivery of Multiple Hampers

If you order multiple hampers to be delivered to the same address on the same day in the Perth Metro Area or the Perth Outer Metro Area this will incur only one delivery charge.

Damaged Items

Great care is taken to ensure your gift arrives in perfect condition, however if an item arrives damaged please call us on 1300 474 586 within 24 hours of the delivery.

Delivery Notes

Each couriered gift hamper needs to be signed for by a person at the delivery address.

If this is not possible you can provide us with an authority to leave the item.

If we do not have authority to leave the item or are unable to leave the item due to safety concerns or secure gated premises a note will be left at recipients address and we will return the gift hamper to our premises and a redelivery charge will be incurred.

Hampers by Design uses highly reputable carriers to deliver its gift hampers, however from time to time delays may be experienced which are out of our control. We are unable to accept responsibility for these unforseen circumstances and are unable to refund /cancel orders as a consequence.
